This work uses the first 13 terms of the Fibonacci sequence {1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55,89,144,233}, introduced in a problem posed by Leonardo Pisano in the early 1200's. Pisano called himself
Fibonacci (Fi-Bonacci - son of Bonacci). It is unlikely that Fibonacci actually came up with this sequence himself. It is known that Indians
were interested in Fibonacci numbers long before Fibonacci brought arabic numbers to Europe. It is most likely that he simply included a
problem in his book
Liber Abaci that he had heard from mathematicians while travelling and living in Africa. Fibonacci's self-stated
purpose in his book is to make the use of the "nine Indian figures" better understood in his native Italy.
