The drawings here were produced in Boston during the first few years in which I worked with Fibonacci numbers and the golden ratio, in 2000 and 2001. Whereas my music focuses more attention on the representation of number sequences, my visual art explores the geometric and aesthetic nature of the golden ratio. The paintings are from my time in Leipzig and Hamburg, 2005 and 2006. I see the golden ratio, because of its geometric properties, as the single mathematical object which can bring the greatest unity to art.
